This event can potentially load your pipeline for the first quarter, if you do it right.
Here are the steps:
1. Mark your calendar to be at the party to visit with your clients -- they always end up talking real estate. We have picked up listings at the pie party every year. Be prepared to deliver pies the next day if they don't show.
2. CALL ALL OF YOUR CLIENTS and HOT PROSPECTS starting Nov 1. The most important part of this event is CALLING AND INVITING. Even if they decline, they will remember that you reached out. Do not ask for business, just invite to the party and offer a free pie. They will often bring up real estate if you just start a conversation.
3. Follow up immediately with a text with the invite graphic. Use the image above (Right Click to download and save).
Here are some examples
"We are thankful to you and have a pie with your name on it! Just let me know what flavor you would prefer."
"We are so thankful for your business! We would love to invite you to our Pie Party and take home a pie big enough to share. Let me know if you can make it!"
4. Add the information you collect to this spreadsheet (You can ignore the address/phone fields, although if you want to double check you have up-to-date info this is a good time):
5. If you have tried at least several times and have no luck (it's a relationship business!), you can send them this invite form in a text or email. Their order will automatically be added to the spreadsheet.
6. Go to BoldTrail, add any notes from your conversation. Add the hashtag "Pie2025" to the client in BoldTrail. This is important!
